I had a huge shock when I realised - at 19 - that I could write without having to be a teacher or novelist, really? what's that called?

 Copywriting!

Why did no one tell me about this before! So now I'm a copywriter, specialising in social media copy and long-form articles.

Anywayyy, my name is Mel Scanlon and I am a second-year English Lit student at Sheffield Hallam University. I love plants, reading fiction and my family cat Mango.

My favourite things are cats, volunteering at my local cat cafe and watching funny videos of cats.
